ABOUT THE
WORKSHOP

Utility Engineering is a branch of Civil Engineering that focuses on the planning, position, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and asset management of any and all utility systems, as well as the interaction between utility infrastructure and other civil infrastructure.

UESI - the Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute - allows opportunities for all those interested to collaborate in advancing the technical and professional practices of utility engineering and surveying. This seminar will provide an overview of the goals of the UESI, including various advancements in utility mapping technologies and standards.  Viewpoints, needs, and issues from various stakeholders will be discussed, and will include speakers from the utility, consulting/construction, and municipal sectors. 

Who should attend?

Engineering consultants, contractors, technologists, municipal employees, field technicians, suppliers, infrastructure asset managers and anyone else who has an interest in municipal pipelines and wants to keep abreast of emerging industry trends to save money and environment.
