2019 ONPHA Conference

Owning our Future

This fall, we welcome you to come together and build on our momentum from last year. Our theme, Owning our Future, has never been more timely.

The 2019 Conference invites us to consider our potential as members of Ontario’s community housing sector. It’s time for us to redefine what we want our future to look like. The housing sector is modernizing; funding models are changing, and new technologies are helping us to manage properties and build more energy-efficient homes. As housing professionals, we are the experts and we must use our experience and knowledge to help grow our sector; to seek out new funding sources and partnerships to build healthy communities we can all be proud of.

This year’s program will offer a glimpse into the future of housing. With groundbreaking topics such as partnership development, impact investing and new supportive housing models, and evergreen sessions such as fire safety, unit condition management and governance, there is truly something for everyone. Our plenaries and keynote events will inspire you and give you the chance to network with your peers. Swing by the ONPHA Trade Show to connect with suppliers and get new ideas for your properties. Help us celebrate the sector and award its leaders and innovators at the Gala on Saturday evening. Use the Registration Guide to help you plan your time at the Conference. This year, the sessions have been tagged with a series of categories such as Operations, Housing supports and Partnerships. Check the bottom of the session description to find the tags to help you determine whether the session will suit your needs.
