The University of Vermont is committed to safeguarding the health of our community while delivering on our educational mission. We are suspending registration for the Town Officers’ Education Conference at this time. This is to allow for further discussion about the Coronavirus risk upon the well-being of conference attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, staff, and presenters.
Please check back with us on or after March 16, 2020 for an updated status.
Please email Gary Deziel by phone at 802-524-6501 ext. 444, or by email at Gary.Deziel@uvm.edu if you have questions.
The conferences, now in their 75th year, are organized annually by UVM Extension in partnership with participating organizations and provide training for municipal officials and citizen volunteers in two Vermont locations.
These conferences help town clerks, librarians, planners, listers, select board members and other officials for their jobs more effectively by providing updates on laws and regulations, and teaching strategies for successfully managing municipal governance.
