WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

This full-day program of keynote speakers and panel presentations examines current trends and critical issues in the real estate market, and particularly in California. Leading experts will share their ideas about the evolving complexities of an ever-changing economy. Time is allotted for question and answer periods to provide attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas with some of the most knowledgeable leaders in the fields of economics, real estate, technology and finance. There will also be ample time for networking with colleagues and presenters.

The symposium registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks and meeting materials. Registration and networking will begin at 7:15 am in the Nikko Ballroom Foyer on the 3rd floor of the hotel. The main program will begin promptly at 8:00 am in the Nikko Ballroom.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT

We have applied to offer 8 hours of Continuing Education credit from the California Department of Real Estate (CalDRE Sponsor #1656 - Consumer Protection) and for continuing education credit from the California Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers (BREA); however, this does not constitute an endorsement of the views or opinions that are expressed by the course sponsor, instructors, authors or lecturers.

Attendance will be verified for those seeking Continuing Education credits. Attendance verification forms must be picked up at the registration desk before the cut-off time 8:48 am. At the end of the day all applicants must submit the attendance form to a conference staff member, along with proof of I.D., to receive credit. There is no partial credit for partial attendance. Please note the BREA and CalDRE require attendees to be present for 90% of the program session time; breaks are not counted toward program time.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CALDRE CONTINUING EDUCATION APPLICANTS:

The California Department of Real Estate requires that each applicant check in with a photo I.D. before the program begins and take and pass (by 70%) a written exam at the end of the day. This will be an open book exam consisting of 20 questions. Please plan on staying at least one half hour longer after the conference ends in order to meet this requirement if you wish to receive California Bureau of Real Estate credit.

For additional information, please see CalDRE Form 308 - Continuing Education General Information Page.

SUBSTITUTIONS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Registrations are fully transferable to another person (at no charge) at any time by notifying us in writing. If a substitution needs to be made on the day of the event, the substitute attendee must see a conference staff member at the registration desk upon arrival at the hotel. A new name badge will be issued at that time.

Registrations made on a credit card are refunded to the same card. Refunds on payments by check require either the company's Tax ID# or the individual's social security number, and can take at least six weeks to process. If you have any questions or concerns about your refund, call Liz Linton at (510) 643-6106.
