Back to basics - risk management course 2018

This one day course has been exclusively designed for ALARM full members who are new to risk management or who are looking for a refresher of the basics. 

The course will be run by Michèle Baron, a specialist in risk management, in partnership with ALARM and will cover the fundamental elements of managing risk in the public sector including:

  • The risk management process of identification
  • Risk analysis
  • Control and recording of risk
  • Embedding risk management
  • Risk appetite.

This course is designed to be interactive and there will be plenty of opportunity for practical application. 

This course follows the principles set out in ALARM's Risk management toolkit and those new to the role of public sector risk management will find that the course fully supports their training needs. 

This course is FREE to attend for ALARM full members but places are limited to 20 per session, so early booking is advisable.
