2019 ONPHA Conference session proposal

We want to learn from you!

Are you a game-changer? Are you running innovative programs to best serve your community? Are you a thought leader and innovator with solutions to the problems facing the community housing sector?

This year's ONPHA Conference takes place November 1-3 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto and we invite you to share your best ideas to enrich our conference program.

Please read this before starting your submission:

You will need to submit the following information in your proposal: Your contact details, session title, session description and presenters with bios. Once you have developed a session, please complete this survey and click submit.

In 2019, we are seeking presentations that fall within the following areas:

  • Sector Leadership: Creative ideas and problem solving that will help spur community housing renewal and expansion
  • Post-EOA landscape (e.g. alternative options and funding models)
  • Community hubs and housing (e.g. surplus school or hospital sites)
  • Cross-sector partnerships (e.g. public/private, health/housing, developmental services/housing)
  • Development (e.g. new construction, redevelopment, regeneration)
  • From homelessness to housing (e.g. practical strategies, enumeration successes, Housing First)
  • Legalization of marijuana
  • Data-driven solutions
  • Shared services (e.g. collaborations, shared resources)
  • Responses to managing change in an organization 
    (e.g. retirements, new staff, new responsibilities)
  • Strategic asset management (e.g. new technologies, sales/acquisitions, preventative maintenance)
  • Innovations in engaging and supporting tenants (e.g. mental health and addictions, aging in place, transitional housing, LGBTTQIA2S, accessibility)
  • YOUR best ideas!

Deadline for submitting the proposal is February 15, 2019
