Seattle Terms and Conditions

1. This competition open to UK residents aged 25 years or over, except employees of Selling Travel, Icelandair, Port of Seattle, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw.


2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions.  It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules.  The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

3. Entries must be submitted via and entry is restricted to one per person.  Late, illegible, incomplete or corrupt entries will not be accepted.  No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. 

4. One winner will be drawn at random from all correct entries received by 5 January 2018.  The winner’s name and county can be obtained by sending a SAE to Selling Travel, BMI Publishing Limited Suffolk House, George Street, Croydon, CR9 1SR

5. All entries must be received by midnight on 5 January 2018.

6. One entrant will win a holiday to Seattle for 2 adults travelling together including return economy flights with Icelandair London-Seattle-London via Reykjavik; 5 days' economy car hire; 5 nights’ shared accommodation on a room only basis (2 nights in Seattle, 2 nights in Everett, 1 night Seattle airport); Seattle CityPASS; Ride the Ducks tour; Future of Flight tour of the Boeing Factory; whale watching tour; Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour of Seattle and Wings Over Washington experience. Travel insurance, food and drink, personal expenditure, tipping and gratuities, any new taxes not in existence at the time of booking & therefore beyond the control of the Promoter and incidental costs other than those stated are not included. Both the winner and their companion must be over 25 years of age.

7.  The prize may be taken between 30 January 2018 and 30 June 2018 subject to availability.  The prize must be booked a minimum of 4 weeks prior to departure. 

8.  It is the responsibility of the prizewinner to ensure that they and their companion have a valid passport and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip.  Travel is subject to the standard terms and conditions of icelandair that may be found at

9.  All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non-transferable, non-negotiable and there are no cash alternatives.

10. The winner may be required to participate in publicity.

11. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
