Board of Directors Positions

All applicants must be members in good standing with the chapter; consideration will be given to applicants who have served in other leadership positions within MPIGNY or other Boards of Directors.

Executive Committee positions are one-year terms and for 2018 – 2019, there are 5 positions available. Director positions are two-year terms.  Some current Directors will be serving the second year of a two year term and at least one may vacate their position and move to an open spot on the Executive Committee. 

Please provide first, second, and third choices in the space provided by marking in bold “1”, “2” and “3” below. 

Note: Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferences however; the nominating committee reserves the right to assign you to an alternate position based on all applications received.

General Responsibilities of Board Members: 
• Attend monthly board meetings. 
• Oversee submission of a monthly status reports for assigned committees. 
• Attend two Board of Directors Retreats taking place in May and Jan each year. 
• Attend MPIGNY monthly events and committee meetings. 
If selected, represent GNY at the MPI Chapter Business Summit (CBS) hosted by MPI in April of 2018.
