Green Cities 2015 – Call for abstracts

If you’ve got a great idea, project or initiative that could help connect people and place, we want to hear from you. There’s still time to enter your abstract. The deadline has been extended and submissions now close 31 August.This year we are calling for abstracts that answer the following:

“How does your initiative connect people and place to achieve the best outcomes for buildings, business, communities and cities?”

Abstract Submission Process

1. Create a profile and select a password
2. Create new submission/s which must include:

A presentation title – keep it short and make it a compelling

A 250 word topic summary – tell us what you’d like to talk about and why it’s important

Plus an optional short video (optional) – show us how you’ll captivate the Green Cities crowd!

You can submit as many abstracts as you like and can save and edit your abstracts before submitting. You will receive a confirmation email for each submission once it is complete.

Closing date: Sunday 31st August

The selection process

Chosen submissions will secure a sought-after speaking spot at Green Cities 2015. The speaking spot will be no longer than 10 mins. Submissions will be reviewed by the Program Advisory Group in August, and only successful applicants will be contacted.

Hints and tips:

We love creativity. So don’t be afraid to think outside the box with your submission and definitely your title
A video is great because we can see your speaking style and personality. It doesn't have to be of professional quality - recorded on an iPhone is ok
