Title SVP, Corporate Development Company Discovery Communications Bio Dan Fox serves as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Discovery Communications, the world’s #1 pay-TV programmer. In this role, Fox leads the company’s domestic acquisition and investment efforts in the pay television, digital video and online learning sectors. Fox has played an integral role in Discovery’s joint venture cable networks, including the recently renamed Discovery Family Channel, joint venture with Hasbro and the partnership between OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and Tyler Perry. Prior to joining Discovery, Fox worked in the M&A group at IAC, focusing on the online dating and online health industries. He has also worked as a media merchant banker for Veronis Suhler. Fox holds an AB in Economics from Princeton and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.
