Jose Quinonez is a passionate advocate for social justice. He serves as Mission Asset Fund’s founding CEO, an award-winning nonprofit organization that integrates financially excluded low-income and immigrant communities into the financial mainstream by offering innovative and culturally relevant financial products and services. Mr. Quinonez was appointed as the inaugural Chair to the CFPB’s Consumer Advisory Board in 2012; elected as an Ashoka Fellow; received the James Irvine Leadership Award; selected to the Aspen Institute Fellowship for Emerging Nonprofit Leaders; and received the Latino Leader Magazine SF Maestro Award. Mr. Quinonez graduated from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School and the University of California at Davis.
