Jamie Sears is Director and Head of Strategic Partnerships and Programs at UBS Community Affairs & Corporate Responsibility. She oversees the firm’s flagship philanthropic initiatives within education and entrepreneurship, and the group’s overall strategy and operations. UBS NextGen Leaders is a $10 million, multi-year college success initiative to increase college graduation amongst under-resourced populations. Elevating Entrepreneurs is a national platform that provides access to high-impact business advising, capital and education opportunities to support entrepreneurial growth. Prior to UBS, Jamie held a variety of roles in the Office at Corporate Engagement at Goldman Sachs including serving on the launch team for 10,000 Women, as a Program Officer for the domestic education portfolio, and creating and managing the engagement strategy for 10,000 Small Businesses. Jamie’s previous experience includes launching and managing the Reynolds Foundation Program in Social Entrepreneurship at New York University, and working at Teach for America on the corps member selection and national development teams. It was her early experience at TFA that influenced her life-long commitment to social impact, education equality, and economic empowerment. Jamie received an MPA from New York University Wagner School of Public Service, and a BA from Pennsylvania State University.
