Mr. Riccitiello was appointed CEO of Unity Technologies in October 2014. He has served on Unity’s board since 2013. Mr. Riccitiello is also an active private investor. Mr. Riccitiello serves on the boards of Unity Technologies, Syntertainment, and OnMyBlock, where he chairs the board. He is also an active advisor to SilkCloud, a Shanghai based SAAS provider, and was previously an investor and advisor to Oculus. Mr. Riccitiello also serves on the Board of the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley and on the Board of Councilors for the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He also serves on the board of GlassLab, a not-for-profit enterprise focused on using technology and gaming best practices in the field of education. Until March of 2013, Mr. Riccitiello served as the CEO of Electronic Arts. Mr. Riccitiello originally joined EA in October 1997 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He was President during a period of dynamic growth — with his help EA grew market share, diversified its product portfolio and strengthened the company’s international business. Mr. Riccitiello left Electronic Arts in 2004 to become a founding partner and managing director of Elevation Partners, a private equity partnership focused on the media and entertainment sector. He returned to EA as CEO in 2007, reorganized the company and re-committed EA to leading the industry in quality and innovation and by driving EA’s transformation from a packaged goods game company to one leading in mobile, online and could / digital gaming. During this time the company has seen an aggregate increase in game quality, and saw its online, mobile and digital revenues grow to exceed $1.6 billion in revenues. Mr. Riccitiello holds a Bachelors of Science degree from University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Riccitiello lives with his wife and children in the San Francisco Bay Area.
