Kate is Senior Vice President for Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy at PSI and the co-founder of a ground-breaking philanthropic and advocacy initiative aimed at catalyzing the next wave of social investors to improve the health and rights of girls and women worldwide. Co-chaired by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess of Norway Mette-Marit and Melinda Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the initiative is driving strategic investments that go beyond the checkbook by engaging the time and talents of philanthropists. Kate is also the founder of YouthAIDS and Five & Alive, health education and advocacy campaigns implemented by PSI. In 2007, Kate was named “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum, featured as a CNN Hero and received the Jack Valenti AIDS outstanding achievement award. In 2009, she was named one of the Vogue 100 Women. She is a founder and active board member of the Global India Fund and serves on the Global Health Advisory Board of the World Economic Forum. Prior to joining PSI, Kate served as Managing Director of the Bates, Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising Agency, where she established the promotion agency “141” in Russia, Ukraine and Romania and oversaw operations for other Eastern European markets out of London. Originally from the United Kingdom, Kate graduated from Southport University of Art and Technology in England with a City and Guilds in Hotel and Catering Management, launching her career with the prestigious hotel group Relais et Chateau. She speaks five languages, including Russian, Dutch and Romanian.
