Kai Kight is an innovative violinist, composer, and graduate of Stanford University’s design program. As an artist, Kai breaks through the traditional boundaries of the violin by creating music that connects the classical world with popular genres. He has performed his music for thousands including at TEDx and the White House. For his innovative work as a designer, Kai was named a 2013 Design Fellow for the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins and has been highlighted in Fast Company’s Design issue. During his time at Stanford, Kai was also selected as a Mayfield Fellows Program, a prestigious entrepreneurship fellowship directed by Stanford’s Technology Ventures Program. Kai believes that each person has the capacity to bring a unique and authentic idea into the world, they just have to rethink the rules and boundaries that limit what they perceive as possible. He currently is on tour sharing this important message with organizations and universities around the United States.
