Lois Backon is an Executive Director of the Global Philanthropy Division at JPMorgan Chase & Co. In her role, she is responsible for driving the firm’s philanthropic business strategy, working with all of the firm’s lines of business, and managing projects and relationships to maximize the integration of philanthropic, community relations, and business priorities.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Mrs. Backon was the Senior Vice President of Families and Work Institute from 1998 – 2011. She also worked at IBM from 1982 – 1996 as the Marketing Account Executive for the White House.
Mrs. Backon is on the Board of Directors of the National Assembly on School Based Health Care. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Administrative Management Sciences and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University. She re-sides in Connecticut with her husband, Marc, and their two daughters, Mia and Julia.
