Based in San Francisco, Noah Wintroub is responsible globally for JPMorgan’s coverage of the Internet and Digital Media (“IDM”) sector.  Since joining the firm, Noah has helped JPMorgan become Wall’s Street’s preeminent platform for traditional and emerging corporate clients seeking content, advice, access and capital to take advantage of disruption and innovation in consumption patterns, platforms and business models as a result of the evolution of the Internet and low-cost IT.   JPM’s IDM group has developed deep expertise across key subsectors including, enabling technologies, social media, ecommerce, monetization and online and vertical marketplaces. Noah divides his time between working with large traditional clients impacted by the internet, large cap IDM companies and emerging leaders.
Noah joined the former Hambrecht & Quist (now J.P. Morgan) in 1999 in the Mergers & Acquisitions group.  In 2002, Noah transitioned to a coverage role within J.P. Morgan focusing on digital media and communications equipment.  Prior to joining H&Q, Noah worked for J.P. Morgan in their Consumer/Retail group focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions.
Noah graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude from Colgate University with a B.A. in History and a minor in Religion. An avid traveler, Noah studied abroad in Russia and Israel and visited over 30 countries.  A native of Chicago and diehard Cubs fan, Noah lives with his wife Carey, daughters Bennett and Dylan and their dog Wrigley in San Francisco, California.  In his free time Noah also serves as Treasurer of the JWeekly, Northern California’s weekly Jewish Newspaper and enjoys running.
