Title CTO Company North Shore-LIJ Health System Bio Doug Torre is Chief Technology Officer of the North Shore-LIJ Health System, the largest healthcare provider in the New York region. As CTO, he directs all enterprise technology services including: Architecture, Service Management/Delivery, Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Solutions Engineering, Security, DR and IT Risk Management. Previously, Torre was Chief Information Officer and Vice President of the Catholic Health System, where he managed all aspects of technology, including implementing advanced, high performance networking and the implementation of electronic medical record systems. Prior to CHS, Torre served on the senior technology staff at the State University of New York and Sisters of Charity Hospital. He has also served in various leadership positions and on the boards of health care and charitable organizations. He holds a B.S. in the management of information system from Canisius College and an M.B.A. from the University at Buffalo.
