Maxime Burzlaff has been involved in international mail operations for the last 15 years in a variety of roles: IT and systems management, performance management, operations and process optimisation, and implementation of regulatory changes throughout Australia Post’s international operations. Of late he has been representing Australia Post in various international work-streams focused on how to best implement e-Commerce across multiple postal operators. He is a member of the Management Committee of the UPU’s International Mail Systems Users Group, which is overseeing the development of operational systems for Posts, as well as Customs in recent times, and represents Australia Post in various international postal bodies. He has long been collaborating with the Australian Border Agencies, working towards streamlining postal border clearance and establishing a positive tri-partite working relationship.
