Dietmar Jost is the Customs & Security Advisor to the Global Express Association, which represents the four global express operators DHL, Fedex, TNT and UPS. Dietmar spent over 20 years working for the government, first in the German Customs administration, then in the Ministry of Finance and finally at the World Customs Organization in Brussels. At the WCO, Dietmar led work on key WCO instruments such as the WCO Revised Kyoto Convention, the Data Model and the Risk Management Guidelines. In 2007, Dietmar became a senior project manager at Booz Allen Hamilton (later Booz & Company) a leading global strategy consultancy. In 2010, Dietmar started his own consultancy, Dietmar Jost Consulting, and since then advises the global express industry on Customs and security matters.
