David Pekoske is Group President of the National Security Group of A-T Solutions, Inc. A-T Solutions is an internationally recognized leader in counterterrorism, delivering a full spectrum of intelligence, technology, training, and mission support solutions that protect people, infrastructure, and nations from terrorist threats. A-T Solutions’ National Security Group’s customers include the U. S. Departments of Homeland Security, Justice and State; the Intelligence Community; the Defense Threat Reduction Agency; state and local law enforcement and first responders; and international governments.

Prior to joining A-T Solutions, he was the Vice Commandant of the U. S. Coast Guard. In this key leadership position within the Department of Homeland Security, then-Vice Admiral Pekoske was second in command, Chief Operating Officer, Component Acquisition Executive and the senior leadership sponsor for the Coast Guard’s innovation program. The Coast Guard annual budget was approximately $10 billion with 60,000 military and civilian employees and 30,000 volunteers.

Previously, he was the Commander of the Coast Guard’s Pacific Area and Coast Guard Defense Forces West, responsible for all Coast Guard operations in the Pacific, Arctic, and Antarctic Oceans. His other flag officer assignments were Assistant Commandant for Operations at Coast Guard Headquarters and Commander of the First Coast Guard District (Northeastern United States)/Maritime Defense Zone One.

Mr. Pekoske has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.  He is a graduate of the U. S. Coast Guard Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering.

Mr. Pekoske is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the InfraGard National Member’s Alliance. InfraGard is a national public/private sector partnership to assist in protecting the United States’ critical infrastructure.  It is sponsored by the FBI and has over 25,000 volunteer members representing all critical infrastructure sectors.  He is also a member of the Naval Studies Board of The National Academies.  Additionally, he is a member of the adjunct faculty at American University and has instructed at the Naval Postgraduate School and The Johns Hopkins University on homeland security policy, leadership and innovation.
