Title Founding Member Company NASDAQ Private Market Bio Rob Malin is a founding member and head of issuer sales for the NASDAQ Private Market (NPM), a joint venture between NASDAQ OMX and SharesPost which enables private companies to efficiently manage equity ownership and facilitate controlled access to liquidity. By delivering greater integrity, efficiency, standardization and liquidity to the private capital markets, NPM will benefit private companies, founders, employees and investors. From 2007 to 2012, Rob worked at Liquidnet where he led the design and launch of the firm’s Equity Capital Markets (ECM) platform to deliver efficient equity capital execution to corporate issuer, private equity and venture capital clients. As a member of Liquidnet's Corporate Strategy Group, Rob also evaluated and implemented other strategic initiatives and maintained partner and industry relationships. Prior to joining Liquidnet, Rob completed an earlier tour of duty at NASDAQ including client-facing roles within both Transactions Services and the New Listings team. Rob entered the world of electronic equity trading upon joining Brut ECN in 2003 as head of its institutional sales effort. Previously, he worked within the corporate debt market for over 10 years, holding positions in investment-grade sales, trading and origination at Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Lehman Brothers. Rob earned his MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and his BA in Government from Dartmouth College.
