Bio
Robin was educated at Manchester University in England, obtaining an honours degree in Computer Science. He has worked for a number of companies in the UK, the USA as well as Canada, mainly in real time simulation software and complex networking systems. Robin started work at CSR in February 2000, working as a software engineer in the Bluetooth firmware group before moving into his current role as a Global Standards Architect for CSR as part of the R&I group. Robin has many years of experience in both embedded systems development, networking systems, as well as wireless technology. He has held the position of Chair of the Bluetooth Architecture Review Board and the Chair of the Core Specification Working Group, as well as a number of other groups within the Bluetooth SIG.
 
Robin is currently active in the Bluetooth Architecture Review Board, the Core Specification Working Group, as well as a number of other Working Groups. Robin is also a board member of the Weightless SIG. Robin regularily speaks at various events around the world including the Wireless Developers Forums and the Bluetooth SIG Analyst meetings.
