Title Director - Standardization and Industry Alliances Company Bio As Chairman of MIPI Alliance, Joel leads the Board and its general management of the Alliance. He is responsible for facilitating the final adoption of all MIPI specifications, directing the efforts of all working groups, and identifying new initiatives. In his role as Director, Standardization and Industry Alliances for STMicroelectronics, Joel develops and drives the company’s standardization strategy. With 28 years of experience in the telecom and microelectronics field, he is a recognized leader in numerous technical standards bodies and industry alliances. Joel is a graduate of Ecole polytechnique Universitaire de Lille Ingenieur Informatique Microélectronique Automatique (IMA) He is married with two children and is an avid golfer and skier.
