Title Vice-Chancellor and President Company Charles Darwin University Bio Professor Maddocks has been CDU’s Vice-Chancellor and President since March 2014, following a career spanning academia, government and research.  Previously Professor Maddocks was Director of Science Partnerships at the Department of Primary Industries and Regions in the South Australian Research and Development Institute, and at the University of Adelaide he was Roseworthy Campus Director and Professor of Animal Science. He has worked in the UK and the USA. He holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) and a PhD from the University of Adelaide, and was the first non-medical graduate to receive the Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Scholarship in Medicine.
