Gabriela A. González is the Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs and the Intel Foundation informing K12 Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and Women & Girls STEM strategies. Ms. González engages and collaborates with multiple stakeholders across Intel as well as external partners in academia, government, industry and non-profit agencies to drive and influence meaningful STEM education outcomes. Prior to this role Ms. González was a program manager for Intel Labs and managed Intel’s strategic corporate relationships and academic programs with top U.S., Europe and Latin America research universities. Throughout her career, Ms. Gonzalez has held several engineering roles at Intel, as a Process Engineering Group Manager transferring the latest microprocessor technology from development to high-volume manufacturing and as an Industrial Engineering Manager responsible for equipment capacity, labor and operational productivity. Ms. González began her professional career at Xerox Corporation where she held various manufacturing, engineering and management positions. Ms. Gonzalez is a leader, role model and active member of her community, the Intel Latino Network and Women at Intel Network and is driving to change the future for underrepresented students in STEM. Ms. González holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and Manufacturing Management from Clarkson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology at Arizona State University.
