Amy Lesnick is the Chief Executive of Pledge 1%, recently named 2017’s most innovative non-profit by Fast Company, as well as one of the top 50 most innovative companies in the world. Pledge 1% is a global movement to create a new normal where giving back is integrated into the culture and values of companies of all sizes and stages. Over 1800 companies in 50 countries have already joined the movement, including Salesforce, Atlassian, Box, Okta, Optimizely, and Yelp. With over 20 years of experience leading, scaling, and advising early-stage, high-growth ventures, Amy is a tech industry veteran. She’s especially passionate about the intersection of technology and social change, as well as initiatives that simultaneously empower individuals and engage communities. Before taking the reins at Pledge 1%, Amy headed up worldwide growth for cause-related campaigns at Indiegogo and was the CEO of Full Circle Fund for 7 years. Under Amy’s leadership Full Circle Fund was transformed into one of the largest engaged philanthropy organizations in the world, attracting notable supporters such as Al Gore, Sheryl Sandberg, and Reid Hoffman. Prior to Full Circle, Amy’s experience included McKinsey & Co, Netscape—where she launched ‘webmail,’ one of the first web based email programs. Amy has been an advisor/consultant to Stanford’s StartX accelerator, the Jefferson Awards Foundation, Xprize Foundation, and numerous start-up ventures. She also co-founded and instructed UC Berkeley Haas School of Business’ Strategic Philanthropy course based on Full Circle Fund’s innovative model. In 2008 and 2009, San Francisco Business Times named Amy one of the “Bay Area’s Most Influential Women”. In 2010, she was inducted into to the “Forever Influential” Hall of Fame.
