Practice Lead, Digital Business Transformations
Stamos is a digital experience strategist with more than 12 years of expertise in digital transformations. He is currently in charge of the digital transformation strategy practice for Compunnel Digital, a leading consultancy and technology firm, based out of New York City. Over the course of his career, he has led more than $90m worth of digitalization initiatives focusing on automation, multi-channel engagement, self- service channels, CRM and e-commerce, and trained more than 900 practitioners and 300 executives on leading digital transformation strategy methods. His clients include mostly Fortune-1,000 companies across multiple verticals including retail and commercial banking, investment and wealth management, mortgage origination and servicing, health and auto insurance, healthcare and senior living services, entertainment, hospitality, transportation, and professional services. Stamos is a leading practitioner of customer-centric approaches to digital transformation. His work is founded on three imperatives: 1) Relentless focus on the customer journey that he utilizes as the foundation for all his client deliverables, from deriving KPIs and contextualizing functional requirements to aligning stakeholders on the scope of digital transformations 2) Pursuit of "quick wins" via accelerated planning and rapid prototyping to prove ROI and justify ongoing digitalization investment 3) Integration of strategy and execution to accelerate the transformation lifecycle and reduce the overall cost to transform Stamos is a passionate thought leader with multiple publications under his name, including his latest eBook ("2017 Digital Business Survival Guide") that focuses on the key challenges businesses face in their digital transformation journeys, and solutions to address them. His blog posts are featured as editors’ picks in top-rated DCX blogs including CX-Journey and CustomerThink. He has been a keynote and guest speaker at multiple industry conferences including PwC's semi-annual Global Customer Experience forum, the Financial Management Learning Forum (FMLF) and the Workshop In Business Opportunities (WIBO). Prior to working for Compunnel Digital, Stamos served in senior consulting roles at CohnReznick Digital where he set up, operationalized and monetized the company's Digital Innovation Lab, and PwC Digital where he incubated the firm's Customer Experience Management practice and was a member of the firm's strategic accounts (>$100m bookings/year). He received his degree from NYU in Social Studies with a concentration in Economics. Ultimately, his objective is to drive the adoption of leading transformation practices.
