Bio
From a very early age I’ve been driven by a deep passion and insatiable curiosity for engineering and technology. Over my 25 year career I had the privilege of harnessing this passion to assemble and lead exceptional teams and achieve rewarding business results. In early 2008 I co-founded PennyMac, a financial services startup backed by BlackRock. From our humble beginnings, we grew PennyMac to a prominent position in the mortgage banking industry (4th largest producer, 2nd largest acquirer and 11th largest servicer of home loans in the United States), valued at over $1.4B. PennyMac completed an IPO in 2013 (NYSE:PFSI). Prior to PennyMac, I founded and led the technology innovation group for Bank of America (Countrywide), co-founded the technology startup iWeb Technologies (acquired by a Japanese consortium), and had the honor to serve in in the Intelligence Unit 8200 of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). I believe that there has never been a more exciting time to be a technology leader. The fast pace of technology innovation, novel operating models and true customer centricity introduce exciting opportunities to transform everything we do. I like to challenge the assumptions and coach leaders to think past their own experience, preconceptions and fears.
