Tara Vaishnav is the current VP Enterprise Technology Strategy & Architecture at the Clorox Company. In this role, she is accountable for leading and developing the enterprise technology strategy, and the IT systems architecture to support of Clorox's business strategy. She also leads the enterprise Cyber Security strategy and its implementation, operations and support. Tara previously was the Executive Director of Enterprise Data Architecture and Strategic Data Services at Kaiser Permanente, where she was responsible for the Enterprise Data Strategy, which included management the end-to-and data landscape and data assets. Tara defined and moved forward architecture and strategy for Master Data Management, Meta Data Management, Data Exchange and Integration, Data Warehousing, Data Virtualization, Big Data Analytics, and Enterprise Data and Information Models. Tara also made recommendations on new and emerging technologies to will enable better management and access to KP’s data assets. Tara has a long career history in Enterprise Architecture and Design, and has worked in the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry for over 15 years. She has played various leadership roles delivering large scale Data Warehousing and Reporting environment, and various operational systems. She was also Director of Emerging Technologies at McKesson Corp, where she advised a number of startups, and provided strategic influence on vendor product roadmaps. Prior to McKesson, she was a technology consultant, providing services to various companies in the Financial and Retail sectors. Tara is a frequent invited speaker at industry conferences and has chaired and started several advisory and governance boards to drive holistic data architectures. She has an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California.
