Right before Karen Rector was introduced to R+F, she had transitioned from working as a wedding planner to becoming a full-time mom. She “knew at some point she would have to go back to work” so when she heard about R+F, she was “extremely attracted” to the opportunity of working on her own terms. She joined in 2012 and says the outcome has “greatly exceeded” her wildest dreams. Within 18 months of beginning with R+F, her husband, BJ, was able to join her in the business. They work about 10-15 hours a week and love celebrating those on their team that are achieving their goals. Karen constantly learns from and is inspired by her team and says she is challenged to run right alongside those she gets to lead because “they make me so much better.” Their goal for the future is to “be leaders worth following.” They are eager to see the determination and passion of their team as they are “rewarded for the consistent commitment they put into their businesses.” Karen and BJ hope their team gets to experience the “freedom, finances and intangible rewards” that come with achieving their goals and plan to continue developing more leaders along the way.
