Lia Pickel had noticed a friend posting about R+F on Facebook, but it wasn’t until that friend reached out personally in 2014 that Lia really considered working with R+F. As a marketing and advertising consultant, she saw big chance to take advantage of a growing industry with two smart, female entrepreneurs. And as a working mom with a new baby, the flexibility to work on her own terms was also appealing. Within three years, both Lia and her husband were able to retire from the previous careers working 20 hours each week. They are both home with their kids and “never miss school functions, field trips, volunteer opportunities or a chance to help others.” They come and go as they please and say that “Rodan + Fields has given us a chance to dream big!” In addition to her personal triumphs, Lia has also enjoyed incredible professional success. She has watched her business partners earn Lexuses through the Road to RFX Car Program and looks forward to the future, excited to celebrate as “others within my organization change their lives.” She hopes to see all of them someday retire their spouses and themselves so they too can devote the majority of time to their loved ones.
