When she was first introduced to R+F, Lisa Meade was working as a pharmaceutical rep but concerned about the industry’s instability at the time. She actually knew the Doctors because they were part of her territory so she came in with respect for their success in business. “I knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I had to jump in.” Prior to joining R+F in 2011, Lisa was working 40-60 hour weeks and in the process of adopting their first child. Now they have two children and Lisa is able to be home with them while working 10-20 hours a week, depending on their schedule. She says the most rewarding thing about the job has been “seeing the sense of pride and accomplishment people feel when they set and achieve their goals” as well as “watching team members step into leadership roles.” One of her favorite memories was running into Dr. Rodan at the airport. The doctor saved her a seat on the flight and the two chatted the entire time. “It definitely gave me a new perspective on what incredible hearts the Doctors have.” Lisa tells new Consultants to “believe in yourself and what is possible” and looks forward to the Australian launch as an opportunity to build a global business.
