Working as a full-time senior account manager at a large media company was creating a struggle for Melissa McCarthy, who was also a new mother. She was “longing for more time” with her baby and when her husband heard about R+F, thought it might be a good opportunity for her. Melissa joined in 2011 and became “consumed with the idea that this could be the answer to work/life balance.” Three years after starting with R+F, her husband’s company restructured and they asked him to move to another part of the country. “Because of our success with R+F, we had the luxury of declining that offer” and her husband was able to join her in the business.
