Working as a full-time senior account manager at a large media company was creating a struggle for Melissa McCarthy, who was also a new mother. She was “longing for more time” with her baby and when her husband heard about R+F, thought it might be a good opportunity for her. Melissa joined in 2011 and became “consumed with the idea that this could be the answer to work/life balance.”

Three years after starting with R+F, her husband’s company restructured and they asked him to move to another part of the country. “Because of our success with R+F, we had the luxury of declining that offer” and her husband was able to join her in the business. They work 15-20 hours a week and have realized that “work doesn’t have to have boundaries.” Now they devote the majority of their time to “helping others achieve success and transform their personal situations.”

To new Consultants, Melissa recommends “putting your blinders on and just keep going.” She is dedicated to continued “fast and furious” growth and excited to expand her team’s global footprint. “I have never been more excited about this company and am actively looking to bring more value to our team.”
