Title International Affairs and Best Practice Guidelines Centre Company Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario Bio Susan McNeill is a mastered-prepared nurse who has a passion for dignified, quality care. She has a background in clinical nursing, program development, education, and population health promotion. She has practiced nursing in Canada, New York and Bangladesh. At the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario she has been the guideline development lead for three evidence-based best practice guidelines: Preventing and Addressing Abuse and Neglect of Older Adults: Person-Centred, Collaborative, System-Wide Approaches; Delirium, Dementia, and Depression in Older Adults: Assessment and care, (2nd ed.); and Preventing Falls and Reducing Injuries From Falls (3rd ed.). Her current role at the RNAO is focused on supporting the uptake of best practices through implementation science.
