Dwight started his airline and travel career over 25 years ago with Qantas Airways as a graduate working across many divisions of Qantas in reservations, wholesale, sales, marketing, corporate and commercial in a variety of roles and finishing up in senior management roles. Following 15 years with Qantas he then left and had a number of years in shipping as commercial manager for Spirit of Tasmania. He was then tapped on the shoulder to be involved with a syndicate in starting up REX Airlines following Ansett’s collapse and became the commercial manager Southern Region.  

After a few years with REX he moved into travel technology working for Travelport as their commercial manager Southern Australia. He then became the Head of Commercial and 2IC for Qatar Airways in Australia growing Qatar Airways distribution and route development across APAC. Following his four years with Qatar he then left and joined Virgin Australia as Industry Manager Australia heading up and managing the Flight Centre contract worth over $650m to Virgin Australia for two years.

After two years commuting to Brisbane for Virgin Australia he then moved back to Melbourne taking the role with Sabre as Partnership Manager Australia. Over the past two years in his role with Sabre he has developed commercial strategic channels, new channels and markets, revenue strategies, contract management of preferred consortia’s, product and service strategies.  In closing its evident Dwight has huge proven success, results driven and a wealth of experience from his 25 years and companies he has worked for.
