As Managing Director at GoodCompany Ventures, Catherine draws on her operational and fundraising experience as a two time social entrepreneur, co-founding ventures in the ethical apparel industries after launching her career as part of GoodCompany’s second graduating class. She led the design and execution of GoodCompany's FastFWD initiative, a partnership among GoodCompany, the City of Philadelphia and the Wharton Social Impact Initiative, which applied social innovation to issues of Public Safety. She then has driven the replication and expansion of this project internationally, partnered with leading corporates, investors and NGOs, on the Climate Ventures 2.0 initiative. GoodCompany graduates have gone on to raise an average of $10mm per cohort, totaling nearly $70mm. Prior to venturing into Social Enterprise, Catherine worked with the United Nations and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development in Geneva, Switzerland, where she worked with corporate leaders to understand their business case for reducing their climate footprint throughout their supply chains. Catherine sits on the Board of Power up Gambia, a non-profit that brings reliable solar energy sources to healthcare facilities and clinics in the Gambia. She is a frequent speaker and startup judge, and holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
