Claudia Gonzalez Romo has run global advocacy for UNICEF since 2014 and is now serving as Special Advisor. Claudia was seconded to the Executive Office of the Secretary General of the United Nations running communications and advocacy for the Special Adviser for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Climate Change. Claudia is a Mexican-Swiss Diplomat who recently moved to New York and is a member of the Board of Bank Street College and the Ad Council. Claudia has led PR, brand and marketing for some of the world's biggest global organizations including the World Economic Forum, the UN Refugee Agency and the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria; while being a marketing professor of the University of Geneva for the MBA with specialization in International Organizations, IOMBA, and has a couple of MOOCs marketing courses in Coursera. Claudia holds degrees on Communications and Philosophy as well as a Masters on political communications from the London School of Economics.
