Dr. Amy S. Hughes is with the Tactical Networks group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory currently working with a team to develop a new cybersecurity architecture for the U.S. Government. She has worked on satellite, aircraft, and naval networking projects, designing communications architectures for military systems, and implementing and testing proof of concept designs. She has taught at West Point and served as the Chief of Network Engineering for the Advanced Concepts Division of MILSATCOM. She earned a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College and a M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in Computer Science.
