Trisha Kothari is a Product Manager at Affirm, a take on modern banking by Max Levchin. She was previously a backend engineer, where she has written some of the core systems at Affirm, such as the underlying systems for data processing and loan economics. She was awarded the top 20th most powerful female engineer by Business Insider in 2016. She has also been a Google Anita Borg Scholar, a Microsoft scholarship recipient, and a Mensa scholarship recipient. She has talked at several conferences, including GHC 2016 (panel: A day in the life of), GHC 2015 (panel on legacy codebases), Payments Innovation Forum 2016, Product Innovation Forum 2016, SquareÂ’s Lessons Learned in Engineering 2015, and Pybay 2016.
