Leslie Abrahams is a Research Staff Member at IDA's Science and Technology Policy Institute (STPI), a federally funded non-profit based in Washington, DC. Her work spans a variety of topics including energy and environment, disaster preparedness, public health, innovation, and STEM education. Prior to joining STPI, Leslie worked for ExxonMobil and was a summer associate at the RAND Corporation. Leslie received a joint Ph.D. from the Departments of Engineering and Public Policy and Civil and Environmental Engineering, and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
