Angela graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and is currently working as a Front-end Developer at one of Canada’s top five banks. Her current team hired her out of an intensive two-year technology associate program, based not only on demonstrated skills but future potential as well. Having completed numerous internships at both large and small companies during her undergraduate studies, the experiences led to bigger and better opportunities. Although each were achievements in their own right, Angela tended to feel unworthy of the opportunities, worried she would not live up to expectations. She later realized these feelings were indicative of Imposter Syndrome. She hopes to bring greater awareness to Early Career Impostor Syndrome and offer young professionals ways to overcome it.
