Tamara is currently in the Data Science, Discovery group at Pinterest. She works with machine learning engineering teams to better understand various parts of the Pinterest ecosystem. Prior, she worked at Twitter as a Data Scientist for Revenue Forecasting / Ads Products, utilizing modeling to predict revenue and assess key ads product initiatives. She finished her Masters degree in Biostatistics at Harvard in December 2016, where she took classes on statistics, machine learning, and data science, as well as performed research on using machine learning to predict flu outbreaks in the US. Before graduate school, she worked for three years in strategy consulting at Putnam Associates after graduating from Duke University in 2011 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
