Alice graduated from Princeton ’13 with a BSE in computer science. After graduation she started at Box, where she worked first on the Enterprise Applications teams, leaning about the fundamentals of Enterprise level software. She later switched teams and joined the Analytics Infrastructure team where she learned more about the monitoring and alerting of applications as well as gained a deeper understanding of backend systems. In 2016 she joined LightStep, a small developer tools start up with a focus on tracing for micro services. Each transition meant another period of ramp up for Alice, but she discovered that with a set of generic tools and principles under her belt she was ready for any new challenge.
