Sunita Chandrasekaran is an Assistant Professor at the University of Delaware. Her research interests include parallel programming models for current and future platforms and evaluation of scientific applications. Sunita earned a PhD in Computer Science Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She has chaired several parallel computing workshops and sessions co-located with IPDPS, SC, CCGrid and ISC conferences. Sunita has participated in Grace Hopper Celebrations to discuss and share ideas on how to improve participation of women in STEM and co-organized Women in HPC (http://www.womeninhpc.org/events/) workshops co-located with SC and ISC, and served on the program committee of these workshops.
