I recently graduated from Capitol Technology University with a Bachelor’s degree in Astronautical Engineering. As a recent graduate, I will begin working as an Integration and Test Engineer at Leidos. I became interested in engineering at a very young age. My father is an Electrical Engineer and would always take me to work with him and show me what he did. I have always enjoyed math, science, and space, so it was a pretty easy decision when choosing my major. While at Capitol Technology University, I was the President of the Society of Women Engineers and was a core member of the CACTUS-1 team(a small satellite which will be launched by NASA December 2017). During my free time I really enjoy hiking, swimming, and weight training!
