Megan Landau is a senior Computer Science major and Mathematics minor. Originally South African, Megan has moved all around the U.S. for the past 12 years, discovering her passion for CS at the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. Outside of class, Megan acts as a Student Ambassador for the CofC Department of Computer Science, is a CS tutor of all levels, Google IgniteCS mentorship program Student Leader, senior researcher in the UAV Robotics Lab, and is an active volunteer for the CS department. Megan works hard to support and promote women studying computer science by being a leader in multiple clubs: Vice President for the Women in Computing Club and the ACM Club, and Outreach Officer for the Cybersecurity Club. Megan also helped start the ACM-W Chapter in Charleston and has recently become a Google Women Techmakers Scholarship recipient.
