Qingxiong "Daisy" Deng is a software engineer working in Algorithm and Data Science group of Microsoft at Cambridge, MA. She has been working with customers to deploy end-to-end data solutions in Azure. Before joining Microsoft, she worked as a senior performance engineer for Akamai Technologies where she combined mathematical optimization and machine learning with engineering to solve load balance and query optimization challenges in large-scale network operation. She worked for Acme Packet (acquired by Oracle) as a software engineer after she got her PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She is from Hunan Province, China.
