Susan Rodger is Professor of the Practice of Computer Science at Duke University (PhD. Purdue University). She works in the areas of visualization and computer science education, developing the software JFLAP and integrating computing into K-12. She received the 2013 ACM Karl V. Karlstrom Outstanding Educator Award, and the ACM Distinguished Educator award in 2006. She is on the ACM SIGCSE Board (Chair from 2013-2016), a board member of CRA-W, and a member of the ACM Education Policy Committee. She started the CRA-W Notable Women in Computing project to guide others in writing Wikipedia biographies for notable women in computing.
