Becky Plummer is a senior software engineer with Bloomberg, where she leads the team responsible for content collaboration applications on the Bloomberg Professional service. She is also the Global Head of Bloomberg’s Engineering Champions Program, which she created in 2011 to empower developers to influence change in the organization and participate in cross-functional projects to improve the internal development environment. This program has not only had a positive impact on the creation of developer tools and the company’s development environment, but also created a cultural shift toward the adoption of InnerSource and cross-functional teams across Bloomberg’s Engineering department. Becky is a graduate of Columbia University with a Master’s degree in Computer Science. She joined Bloomberg in New York in 2006 and moved to London in 2014 to gain a broad global perspective.
